The House of Europe is accepting applications for the Fixing the Future: a competition of initiatives that change the world for the better.
It is a competition of initiatives that offer solutions for positive change in education, nutrition, health, climate, culture, social sector, technology, economy and more. You can come up with an innovative idea or project that already exists.
Among the awards are participation in trainings, presentations, mentoring sessions and networking events of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vienna Academy of Arts, the Vienna Center for Architecture and the Technical University of Graz. Projects from around the world will also be published on an interactive map .
The competition is organized by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with Radio Ö1. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
Benefits
You can win one of the following rewards:
- Invitation to Austria from the Department of Culture of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in networking and mentoring sessions.
- Participation in the Crowdfunder HUB program of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.
- Presentation at the exhibition “How can architecture and urban planning improve the future?” Vienna Center for Architecture.
- Participation in the Market of the Future Innovation Festival and coaching from a team of experts from the Technical University of Graz.
Eligibility Criteria
- This is a competition for individual agents of change and organizations that lead initiatives aimed at creating a better future.
What do I need to participate?
- Description of your initiative up to 800 characters with links to your site or social networks.
- Video presentation lasting up to three minutes, in horizontal format, in English or with English subtitles. Videos shot on a mobile phone will do.
