Deadline: 18-Jul-2025
The Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) is offering funding to local primary care providers, medical organisations, not-for-profit groups, and individual health professionals within the GCPHN region. The funding is intended to support the delivery of out-of-hours immunisation clinics that specifically target vulnerable populations. The initiative aims to increase vaccination rates and improve community awareness of the benefits of immunisations.
The program’s primary goals are to improve access to immunisation services, especially among priority groups; enhance the systems and processes of primary health care providers; and boost community understanding about the value of vaccines to empower informed health choices.
Grants of up to $10,000 are available for activities running from 1 August 2025 to 31 October 2025. Eligible projects may include out-of-hours clinics, community education events, the development of vaccine-related resources, campaigns identifying individuals who are due or overdue for vaccines, and targeted outreach for at-risk populations.
Funding cannot be used for capital works, political or religious activities, projects outside GCPHN’s boundary, or business-as-usual expenses such as rent or staff wages for routine duties. Also excluded are projects that depend on ongoing funding or those unrelated to vaccine literacy or uptake.
Eligible applicants must be based in the GCPHN region and include general practices, local pharmacies, not-for-profits, community groups, or individual health professionals endorsed by their employer. All applicants must have a current ABN, adequate public liability insurance, and be recognized as a QLD Vaccine Service Provider. A completed budget template is also required as part of the expression of interest.
