Deadline: 31-Aug-2025
The Electronic Village Online (EVO) is now accepting proposals for its 2026 professional development sessions. English language teachers are invited to apply to design and lead five-week online sessions for educators worldwide, scheduled to take place from January 11 to February 15, 2026.
EVO provides free, collaborative, and online professional development opportunities for English language educators across the globe. Each year, teachers and subject experts work together to create sessions on various topics related to technology and language teaching.
Session development begins in August and continues through December. The sessions are then delivered in January and February. Participation is open to anyone with internet access, with no membership required.
For EVO26, proposals should present innovative and engaging session ideas that encourage professional growth and promote international collaboration among English teachers.
Moderating teams must use Google Docs to plan and write their proposals to facilitate collaborative design. All moderators, whether new or returning, are expected to participate fully in the MOD PD activities and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment.
At least one member of the moderating team must be affiliated with TESOL, IATEFL, or a similar English teaching organization. If no one on the team holds such a membership, at least one person must agree to join by the time the session begins in January 2026.
