Deadline: 15-Sep-2025
The Mzuri Wildlife Foundation is now accepting applications for its grant program, which aims to support wildlife conservation and promote outdoor sports education around the world. The grants are designed to help projects that make a direct and measurable contribution to environmental conservation and education efforts.
Grant awards typically range from $5,000 to $15,000. The foundation considers applications that can deliver immediate and positive outcomes in areas such as wild game conservation, habitat enhancement, and outdoor or environmental education. Eligible projects must show local support and relevance, with input from regional hunters, guides, and conservationists.
Applicants must have a history of successful project implementation, and the proposed project should ideally be completed within a year. However, multi-year projects that align with Mzuri’s priorities may be considered for continued funding. All projects must have clear, measurable goals and submit progress reports before applying for additional funding.
Mzuri prioritizes initiatives that its directors and staff can observe in person during the project timeline. While the foundation may fund capital equipment essential to a project’s success, it reserves the right to reclaim such equipment if the project ends or shifts focus.
The foundation does not award grants to individuals, for-profit organizations, third-party funders, political campaigns, or PAC-related programs. It also avoids funding government entities, firearm purchases, general fundraising events, or university fellowships and projects.
