Deadline: 03-Nov-2025
Are you launching a new engineering outreach program or have exciting ideas to improve an existing program or event? Fund your project with a DiscoverE Engineers Week Outreach Grant!
The goals of this grant program are to engage K-12 students with hands-on learning experiences and events that inspire an interest and understanding of engineering and take place during (or around) Engineers Week.
DiscoverE is providing a special grant opportunity for organizations that want to inspire K–12 students through hands-on engineering activities during Engineers Week in February 2026. These grants are designed to help bring engaging and educational experiences to young learners, particularly those from underserved communities, encouraging their interest in engineering and STEM fields.
Nonprofit organizations in the United States are eligible to apply for funding between $250 and $1,000. The grants can support events or programs held from early February through late April. This funding can cover costs like venue rental, meals, transportation, educational materials, and supplies necessary to create meaningful experiences for students.
Those awarded the grant will need to gather feedback from participants and submit a report after the event, including photos or videos that can be shared to highlight the program’s success.
This grant offers a valuable opportunity for educators and community groups to expand access to engineering education. By participating, organizations can help foster curiosity and excitement about engineering among students, laying the foundation for future innovators in the field.
