The Government of India has announced Together 2022 Challenge.
The Bootcamp (7-days, week of January 3rd, 2022) will feature over 100 pairs of inspired student entrepreneurs handpicked from over 17,000+Indian colleges and 700 + universities as they attempt to innovate across several sectors of national importance to unlock business opportunities fit for the Indian commercial landscape.
The 200 selected Indian student entrepreneurs will be supported by teams of top Masters Students from the Schulich School of Business and Lassonde School of Engineering, at York University, throughout the Bootcamp. Mentors from India would also be paired with Mentors from Canada to support these student entrepreneurs to help them refine their pitches for the judges.
The new businesses will be owned by Indian student entrepreneurs and the winner of the competition will be rewarded with access to powerful startup tools, a global network, and monetary support to realize their dream.
This event will witness several successful innovation leaders and venture capitalists from Canada and India wearing the hats of an event speaker, mentor, judge, or coach. This initiative is also being supported by leading global organizations.

Incentives
- Fiscal Incentives: Up to $50,000 CAD or 28 Lakhs INR
- Special Incentives: The selected teams will participate in a seven-day entrepreneurship bootcamp and venture competition. The participating teams will receive mentorship and networking opportunities with more than 100 leading entrepreneurs and founders from India and Canada.
- Additionally, each team will get to present their ideas to some of the top investors and Venture Capitalists across both nations.
- The exact details of the prize purse will be announced on the event website shortly.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible, you must apply as a pair and be registered as a graduate/master’s or undergraduate student in a university or college which is officially recognized by the UGC.
- You must use the official university/college email ids while applying.
- Alternatively, you can upload a picture of your official identification card as issued by the university or the college along with the application web form.
