The US Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela is seeking applications for its Global Undergraduate Exchange (Global UGRAD). Global UGRAD is a scholarship program to study for a semester in any specialty, at a university in the United States, as part of a program that does not confer title.
Participants will be enrolled full – time courses undergraduate related with their area of study, they will have the opportunity to share and exchange with professors and students from the United States, live on campus and participate in community service activities. Ideal candidates for this program must demonstrate leadership through academic excellence, community service and extracurricular activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Being a Venezuelan citizen and resident of the country. (Applicants with Venezuelan-American dual nationality will not be considered).
- He is enrolled at a university and have completed the first, second or third year of his career. A T hose who are already enrolled students 5th or last year of his career are not eligible.
- Be less than 24 years at the time of completing the application.
- Demonstrate excellent academic performance.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Fluent knowledge of English.
- Valid passport.
- Meet the additional requirements set by the university where the admission of the candidate in the United States is processed.
