The University of St Andrews and independent exploration and production company ConocoPhillips are seeking entries for St Andrews Prize for the Environment 2017 with a motive to find innovative solutions to environmental challenges. The solutions should be practical, scalable and able to be replicated in other places, combining good science, economic reality and political acceptability.
The Prize has sought to find and support projects that display innovative solutions to environmental challenges worldwide.

Prize Information
The winner receives $100,000 USD and the two finalists receive $25,000 USD.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Prize offers people from all backgrounds around the world the chance to help transform their environmental ideas into reality and also provides a network of connections and support.
- Applications are accepted from individuals, multi-disciplinary teams and community groups.
- The shortlisted entries will be invited for a more substantial submission in January 2017.
