Applications are now open for the Groundswell Grants, which aim to support strategic and high-impact climate advocacy efforts.
The grants are designed for organisations focused on shifting systems, influencing policy, and building momentum toward a safer and more just world. Groundswell offers both project-based funding and core, unrestricted support for advocacy work that aligns with their strategic goals.
Successful applicants can expect to receive grants of $40,000. The total number of grants awarded will depend on the level of donations received.
Funding is directed toward initiatives that build the climate movement through community-led organising, shift public narratives to inspire action, move financial resources from fossil fuels to renewable energy, and advocate for bold climate policy and political leadership.
Eligibility is open to not-for-profit organisations. All applications go through a unique selection process where Groundswell members vote on which shortlisted organisations should receive funding.
