Deadline: 31-Oct-2025
BUILDSPACE has launched its Open Call for Replication Potential, offering cities and organizations the chance to explore how BUILDSPACE’s innovative services can be adapted to their own local context. The goal is to support efforts in energy efficiency, urban heat mitigation, and flood resilience.
The BUILDSPACE project combines data from buildings—gathered through IoT platforms and BIM solutions—with aerial and satellite data from drones, thermal cameras, EGNSS, and Copernicus. This integration enables the development of five decision-support tools within a core platform, designed to help cities and stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions for sustainable transformation at both building and city levels.
Through the Open Call, selected participants will be able to assess how these tools can be replicated in areas beyond the original pilot sites. Successful applicants will benefit from expert training, access to exclusive resources and documentation, opportunities for collaboration and networking, and EU-wide visibility.
To be eligible, applicants must be legal entities such as municipalities, regions, networks of cities, energy cooperatives, NGOs, or other bodies involved in sustainable urban development. They must be based in an EU Member State or a country associated with Horizon Europe. Additionally, they must provide a signed letter expressing interest in exploring the application of BUILDSPACE services in the future.
