WHO Maldives in collaboration with Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MECCT) is seeking proposals to engage a certified educational institute / consultancy firm to develop water and sewerage sector training modules for local council governance.
The primary goal of the task is to create e-learning resources and online training modules for the water and sewerage sector, which will be used to educate local councils through the WATSAN e-learning platform
Work to be performed
- The institute/firm requires to develop water and sewerage sector online training modules and e-learning materials for the trainings. The materials/modules should be compatible with WATSAN e-learning platform.
- Regulatory Framework (Water Act and Regulations),
- Water and sewerage institutions roles and responsibilities
- Conceptual Basics of Water and Sewerage Systems, Flood Management Systems
- Water and Sewerage Service Monitoring and Reporting
- Planning of Water, Sewerage and Flood Mitigation at Island Level
- Water, Sewerage and Flood Mitigation Project Cycle
- Water, Sewerage and Flood Management System Sustainability
- Water Safety Plan and Sanitation Safety Plan
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
- Water resources protection and management
- TOT of water awareness communication at island level
Deliverables
- The institute/consultancy firm shall provide a:
- Program Outline:
- Training Modules for each subjects which shall also include handouts, audio and visual aids and other references materials.
- Aims, intended learning outcomes, methods of delivery, and comprehensive outline of the core subjects; and
- Delivery of Modules and Learning Materials: Modules and learning materials shall be delivered within 03 months period
- Compatibility: All the training materials, and modules are required to be compatible with WATSAN elearning platform

Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for this assignment the educational institute/consultancy firm must demonstrate past experience in performing the services (description of the similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.).
- Multimedia Expert
- Minimum Diploma in Multimedia or Graphic Designing or related field.
- Should have a minimum 2 year work experience in the relevant field.
- Experience in the specific or related projects
- Environment Analyst
- Environment Analyst should have an Bachelors Degree or from Environmental Management or related field
- Excellent oral and written communications in English and Dhivehi
- Minimum 2 years working experience in a field related
- Experience in the specific or related projects
- Multimedia Expert
