Applications are now open for the Subak Climate Accelerator Programme, a 1 year+ programme (divided into 3 phases) to supercharge climate data not-for-profit organisations. The programme will tool you with the skills to grow your organisation, and unlock and mobilise data for impact.
Phases
- Accelerate phase: £20k grant
- Grow phase: £50k grant
- Cooperate phase: Up to £40k grant
What they’ll cover?
- Business: Step from start-up to scale-up. They’ll tool you up with the foundational organisational capabilities, helping you to better focus on what you do best.
- Data: They’ll equip you with the skills to unlock data and use it for maximum impact. Discover how you can benefit and contribute to The Data Cooperative.
- Policy: Learn how to influence one of the primary levers for change: policy. They’ll teach you how to translate your research into evidence based policies.
- Tech: Learn how to run an impactful tech nonprofit. Benefit from access to tech mentors as well as 1:1s with Subak’s in house tech expertise.

Eligibility criteria
In order to be considered for the Subak Accelerator, your organisation must:
- Be an early stage organisation (equivalent to pre-seed/seed stage company)
- operate as a not-for-profit and incorporated and headquartered in Europe
- have 2 or more full time staff members (typically 2-10), including at least one full time staff member who is a data specialist
- have at least 3 months of financial runway from start of programme
- be ready to make at least one dataset open via Subak’s Data Cooperative by the end of the 3 month Accelerate phase.
- Be able to commit fully to the programme.
