Can You Help Solve the Proptech Challenge from Birmingham City Council with Innovative Solutions? If yes, then apply for the Proptech Challenge.
PropTech is rapidly accelerating, taking on challenges across the value chain in the built environment.
Birmingham City Council recognises this phenomenon and has partnered with SuperTech, Bruntwood SciTech and the West Midlands Combined Authority to create this incubator programme within a portfolio of Digital Innovation in Public Services activity.
A real and live challenge has been posed and technology companies from any market are invited to respond and participate in the programme if there is potential to address their problem statement.
How can technology transform public consultation to increase citizen engagement, improve quality, and enable meaningful dialogue?
- There is an urgent need to increase public trust and turn the tide of disengagement.
- Public consultations are where residents are most likely to be able to affect change; however, the current solution is transactional and formal which limits the possibility of engaging in meaningful, sustained dialogue with a broad spectrum of citizens.
