The UN Women Care and Climate Entrepreneurship Accelerator, supported by Visa Foundation, is inviting applications from women-owned and women-benefitting enterprises operating in the care and green economies.
Thematic focus areas include labour-saving technology, digital platforms for care services, elder care and disability care, childcare services, renewable and green energy, domestic worker services, energy efficiency, water security and sanitation, circular economy and waste, nature-based solutions, green mobility, climate-smart agriculture, and climate tech and digital.
This gender-smart acceleration programme provides enterprises with business support, mentorship, access to capital opportunities, gender expertise, and inclusive business development guidance. It fosters cross-regional collaboration, engages policymakers, financiers, experts, and enterprise-support organizations, and works to strengthen the ecosystem for impact enterprises.
Grants ranging from US$5,000 to US$100,000 are available to selected enterprises. The programme timeline runs from July to August 2025 for application and selection, followed by needs assessment and high-touch support from September 2025 to February 2026, and personalized support from March to June 2026.
Eligibility criteria require applicants to be for-profit registered entities operating in South Asia or Southeast Asia, woman-owned/led or with a gender-diverse founding team, and operational for at least two years with a proven product-market fit and revenue generation.
