The United Nations Development Program from the Republic of Moldova, with the financial support of the European Union, implements the project “Addressing the impact of the energy crisis in the Republic of Moldova” which Aims to support the Government of the Republic of Moldova in combating the energy crisis and energy poverty by addressing the priority systemic elements of the energy sector, including to be able to face a potential future energy crisis.
- The implementation of the mentioned measures has a series of advantages for consumers:
- Individual metering of thermal energy and domestic hot water consumption,independence from neighbors;
- Possibility of regulation, flexibility and efficiency of thermal energy use regardless the time of year and the required thermal load;
- The quality of thermal energy and domestic hot water corresponding to the necessary comfort and the requirements of the normative acts in force;
- Exclusion of the phenomenon of overheating of buildings (during autumn transition periods and spring, during warmer periods during the cold season);
- Exclusion of pollution sources near the building, lowering the general level of pollution in the urban environment;
- Signing the contract directly with the provider of Domestic Hot Water (DHW) and heating agent services, which increases the transparency of these relationships.
Criteria
- Tenant associations interested in participating in the competition for the selection of potential beneficiaries are encouraged to submit the participation file, which will consist of the following materials:
- Letter of intent (in free form) accompanied by the decision of the board of directors confirming the intent and the contribution rate of at least 20%;
- Extract from the state register of legal entities;
- The financial report for the year 2021 (where the payment situation will also be reflected).
