The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) followed by the respective Executive Programme, Turkish and Slovak researchers are invited to submit joint proposals for research and development projects.
Aim
- The aim of the call is to allow partners to collaborate internationally, and gain access to new research environments, facilities, knowledge and expertise, in order to enhance the quality of their research and enable them to translate research and innovation into economic and societal benefit. Expected proposals should be tackling basic or applied research.

Funding Information
- Turkish partners that are eligible for funding can receive up to 3,000,000 Turkish Liras (excl. overhead and project incentive premium (PIP)) per project.
- The Slovak partners that are eligible for funding can receive up to 120,000 EURO per project.
- The duration of the projects is 24 or 36 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Higher education institutions within the scope of the Higher Education Law, Education and research hospitals.
- Public institutions and organizations.
- Value added companies at the firm level, regardless of their sector and size, and trade.
- Capital companies (private organizations) resident in Türkiye with a registry document.
- It will be supported in accordance with the provisions of the TÜBÜTAK 1071 – Support Program for Increasing the Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations.
- In case there is more than one partner from Turkey in the same international project, they will be able to participate in the TÜBÜTAK 1071 program as a single project team, as a single national project.
- Application must be made.
- Applications from foundations, associations and their economic enterprises, cooperatives, unions, sole proprietorships and ordinary partnerships are not accepted.
