Deadline: 31-Jul-25
The International Dialogue Centre – KAICIID’s international fellowship opportunity, 2026 International Fellows Programme has been announced for 2026, offering specialized training to individuals committed to advancing dialogue and social cohesion in their communities.
This program is designed to cultivate leadership in intercultural and interreligious understanding, with a particular focus this year on youth-focused organizations and professionals in higher education, policy, and religious leadership.
For the 2026 cycle, two cohorts will be formed. One is a globally inclusive group open to participants from all regions with experience or potential in interreligious or intercultural dialogue.
The second is dedicated to individuals involved in youth service organizations, welcoming both staff and volunteers working at the national, regional, or international levels.
Participants will engage in a rich learning journey that includes a blend of in-person trainings held across different global locations, online courses, and live virtual discussions throughout the year.
Training modules cover dialogue facilitation, intercultural communication, project design, and sustainability. Fellows also receive seed grants to implement their own dialogue-based projects during the fellowship year.
The program begins with an orientation and capacity-building session, followed by a series of online engagements.
The second phase focuses on developing and launching dialogue initiatives, while the final training explores strategies for evaluation and sustainability.
Upon completion, fellows gain lifelong access to a global alumni network committed to promoting peace and understanding.
Eligibility is open to individuals aged 21 and above, with a background in interfaith, intercultural, or community work.
Most fellows have prior experience in higher education, international development, or peacebuilding, but applicants from various fields are welcome if they demonstrate openness to diverse worldviews and a readiness to fully participate in all program components.
Applicants must submit their applications in English, with a completed form, a curriculum vitae, and a support letter from their affiliated organization.
Institutional endorsement and a strong commitment to the values of diversity, inclusion, and dialogue are essential.
Applications can be saved and submitted online before the deadline, but no changes will be accepted after submission.
This fellowship offers a transformative opportunity to become part of an international network of changemakers shaping a more inclusive and peaceful world through dialogue and collaboration.
