The Caraga Food Innovation Consortium has launched a Logo Development Competition to establish a strong visual identity that reflects its core values of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability in food enterprise development.
The two-phase contest aims to engage the public in celebrating food innovation and nutrition, culminating. The initiative promotes community involvement while supporting the consortiums mission and branding needs.
Objectives
- To develop an appropriate logo for the permanent use of the Caraga Food Innovation Consortium and property of DOST Caraga.
- To engage the wider public and creative community in fostering a sense of awareness and connection to the Caraga Food Innovation Consortiums function.
- To increase the visibility around the Caraga Food Innovation Consortiums initiatives, using the competition as a strategic outreach tool.

- Cash Prize: Winner – ?10,000.00.

- All Caraganons across all genders and age groups.
Output Requirements
- Each entry must meet the following core criteria:
- Reflect themes of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability in food systems.
- Be simple, versatile, and memorable.
- Work well across all digital and print platforms. The logo must be of reasonable resolution. The logo must be vector-based for scalability purposes.
- Be original and adaptable to future branding needs.
Application Requirements
- Submission Requirements:
- 2 Electronic Files of Logo:
- 1 file of the logo must have a resolution of 300 dpi for print media use
- 1 file of the logo must have a resolution of 72 dpi for digital media use
- Self-made profile of the contestant containing the following personal information:
- Full legal name
- Age
- Sex
- Disability or lack thereof
- Short description of the submission (120 words max)
- Photo
- Affiliation or organization

- Initial Screening All submitted entries will be evaluated based on concept quality, innovation, and alignment with the activities of the Caraga Food innovation Consortium.
- Top 10 Selection The top 10 most promising entries will be shortlisted and invited to present and explain their logo through a Zoom Meeting in front of a panel of judges.
- Pitch Presentation Each finalist team will deliver a 5-minute pitch to a panel of judges, followed by a brief Q&A. Guidelines for the 5-minute pitch will be sent to shortlisted team.
- Final Judging Judges will score based on the core criteria.
- Announcement of Winner The winning entry will be announced on the DOST Caraga official Facebook page and the winner will be contacted thereafter to coordinate the collection of the prize money.
