The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) kindly requests your Proposal for the provision of services on conducting the national workshops on climate education and promotion of education and awareness on energy efficiency and clean energy.
Objectives of the Assignment
- The overall objectives of the assignment are:
- Raise public and stakeholder awareness of UNDP’s work on climate education, in particular the promotion of climate education and its Climate Box programme;
- Ensure good online and offline visibility of all UNDP activities under this project.
Scope of work
- Under the direct supervision of the Climate Change Advisor and the Climate Box Program Specialist, the company will perform the following:
- Conduct national stakeholder engagement activities on climate education
- Develop and implement a media plan to maximise the visibility, engagement and awareness of stakeholders and the public about all UNDP activities under this project.
Eligibility Criteria
- A vendor who will be engaged by UNDP may not be suspended, debarred, or otherwise identified as ineligible by any UN Organization or the World Bank Group or any other international Organization. Vendors are therefore required to disclose to UNDP whether they are subject to any sanction or temporary suspension imposed by these organizations. Failure to do so may result in termination of any contract or PO subsequently issued to the vendor by UNDP.
- Proposers must have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract with UNDP and to deliver in the country, or through an authorized representative.
- The Bidder (including the Lead Entity on behalf of the individual members of any Joint Venture, Consortium or Association) shall submit only one Bid.
- Qualification requirements for technical evaluation
- Legal entity certificate from the relevant authority / Agreement on the formation of Joint Venture, Consortium or Association (if applicable)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public awareness and/or communication in the field of education and/or sustainable development.
- Proven experience in climate change and/or education and/or energy projects.
