Deadline: 1-May-25
The Art Promotion Småland is now welcoming applications for support for pre-production – exploratory, investigative and experimental artistic work – to develop site-specific and public art projects, works, exhibitions or similar artistic projects.
The intention is that the project will then be completed and realized during the Småland Triennial 2026. They encourage projects that engage the local community, have an outward-looking and knowledge-spreading focus and include local collaboration or a public program.
Purpose
- They want to support artists in art, crafts and handicraft projects that explore the theme of the next Småland Triennial: “ORO – Art, preparedness and resistance”. By prioritizing projects with local collaboration and public focus, they hope to contribute to a richer cultural life in their three regions.
Funding Information
- Maximum Grant: 50,000 SEK (including VAT).
- Payment: Funds for approved projects are paid against invoice after the project has been completed and reported, but no later than December 31, 2025. A complete final report with financial accounting and documentation is required for payment.
