Apply for Shuttleworth Foundation Fellowship Program

Deadline: 1 June 2019

Applicants are invited to apply for Shuttleworth Foundation Fellowships Program that offers individuals to implement their innovative idea for social change.

The Shuttleworth Foundation is a small social investor that provides funding to dynamic leaders who are at the forefront of social change. They look for social innovators who are helping to change the world for the better and could benefit from a social investment model with a difference. They identify amazing people, give them a fellowship grant, and multiply the money they put into their own projects by a factor of ten or more.

The Foundation is at its core an experiment in open philanthropy and uses alternative funding methodologies and collaborative ways of working to ensure that every fellow receives the necessary support to succeed.

They invite individuals with a fresh approach to solving a social challenge, using openness, to apply to their Fellowship Program.

We Kenya Small Scale Farmers Forum KESSFF a registered grassroots village based membership network for Small Scale Farmers SSFs and part of a similar larger regional network for East Central and South African Countries ESAFF.
Our research has shown that Small Scale Farming SSF being rain fed depended is adversely affected by Climate Change due to droughts and floods.
Hence we have embarked on Runoff RAIN Water HARVESTING PROJECTS at the grassroots household village level whose water harvested is being used for both WASH and Agricultural purposes.
