Deadline: 15-Sep-21
Applications are now open for the Atlas Corps x @america: Indonesian Public Sector Leadership Initiative, a special initiative to engage emerging Indonesian social change leaders for global leadership development opportunities in the United States and online.
The Atlas Corps is recruiting Indonesia’s brightest young professionals, with a focus on those with experience in government, politics, nonprofits, education, or a similar social change field. This initiative is a collaboration between Atlas Corps and @america, and is partially supported by the U.S. Embassy in Indonesia.
The Atlas Corps Fellowship engages professionals committed to social change in 12-18 months of service with organizations online and in the U.S. to learn best practices, build organizational capacity, and return home to create a network of global leaders.
Fellows serve full-time with Host Organizations to develop leadership skills and learn effective practices through the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab professional development series and networking opportunities with other Fellows.
The U.S.-based component of the Fellowship allows participants to engage in group cultural activities like a D.C. Monuments Tour, sporting events, U.S. holiday celebrations, and more.
Atlas Corps sponsors Fellows on the J-1 Trainee visa and covers most visa expenses. Atlas Corps also provides each Fellow with a living stipend to cover basic expenses (food, local transportation, and shared housing), a monthly phone plan, emergency health and travel insurance, and round-trip international airfare.
