Are you interested in learning from and working with interdisciplinary, intersectoral network of bright individuals toward finding creative solutions to tough problems? Then apply for the inaugural class of Authentic Leadership Institute Nepal (ALIN) Solutions Fellowship 2022.
A truly interdisciplinary fellowship that will focus on inrxwative solutions to Wooers (or global) complex problems. Over a 4 month period, a team of bright individuals from different academic interests/ backgrounds will come up with an Innovative solution to a critical issue of national (Nepal) a global concern.
Fellowship Details
- Total fellows: 12
- Total Teams: 3 teams with 4 individuals in each team
- Time period of fellowship: 4 months (with possibility to extend upto 5 months)
- Fellowship grant: NRs. 25000 per team – Additional (Modest) Individual Stipends
Minimum commitment
- 5 hours per week on average, except training days
- Most of the in-person training / field visits will occur on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Fellows must attend at least 85% of all in-person meetings (general/team) for the completion of the program
Key Deliverables
- Final report/contingency plan for the continuity of interdisciplinary solution the teams come up with
- The final presentation of the team’s work at the completion of the program
- Preferably academic and media articles about the work

Eligibility Criteria
- Nepali/ Non-nepali citizen studying in Nepal
- Currently enrolled in Master’s OR Bachelor’s degree in any Nepali academic institution (
- Bright high schoolers, and individuals currently not enrolled in a degree will also be considered for the fellowship)
- Individuals from ANY majors/field of study may apply
- Fluent in verbal and written English OR Nepali (preferably both)
- Inclusive, open-minded attitude, and passionate about solving critical issues
- Preference for individuals from geographically marginalized regions and/or minority backgrounds
- Individuals with low academic scores/GPA will not be discriminated against
