Martin Chautari (MC) in collaboration with UNDP Nepal has announced up to three research fellowships on ‘Ten Years of Peace in Nepal’.
Interested applicant should write her/his proposal on issues critical to conflict to peace transition, peace process, transitional justice, federal and local restructuring, constitution making and its implementation, with the specific aim of analyzing the relationship between the decade-long experience and Nepal’s future development. Selected fellows will submit their final research write-ups within six months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should have at least a master’s degree in any discipline. Those currently writing their thesis for the degree are also eligible to apply. Preference will be given to the candidates with demonstrated academic research and writing skills.
- The typed research proposal should be in English or in Nepali and not more than 3,000 words long. It should contextualize research objectives in the light of the available literature, discuss the sources and methods and provide a work plan for executing the proposed activities.
- The applicant should also include her/his bio-data (maximum 2 pages) and other supporting documents to demonstrate her/his prior research experience.
- Women and members of other marginalized groups are encouraged to apply.
