The First Peoples’ Cultural Council is accepting applications for the Indigenous Arts Scholarship to support the development of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists and arts practitioners residing in B.C. with funding for education or mentorship.
Award Information
- Awards for Post-Secondary arts education are available up to $10,000 per calendar year.
- Awards for Mentorship-based arts education are available up to $20,000 per calendar year.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants to this program must:
- Identify as First Nations (status or non-status), Inuit, or Métis;
- Be 17 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age, please include the signature of a legal guardian;
- Be a current resident of B.C. and have resided in B.C. for at least one year;
- Remain full-time residents of B.C. for the duration of their program
