Deadline: 30-May-21
The Cardinal Onaiyekan Foundation for Peace (COFP) is currently accepting applications for the 2021/2022 Fellowship Program.
COFP Fellowship Program is a one-year Fellowship Program that prepares, equips, inspires & engages religious and community leaders from diverse faith & cultural backgrounds, academicians, media personnel & peace actors with skills in interfaith dialogue, conflict transformation, leadership and mediation.
The overall goal of this Fellowship Program is to build capacity to counter violence, enhance freedom of religion & belief, bridge community divides & build a culture of peace. By designing & implementing COFP Fellowship program in collaboration with grassroots actors, they capture their opinions, priorities and experiences in transforming communities together.
The Cost for the one-year program has been generously covered by the GHR Foundation & German Federal Foreign Office who are sponsors of this program.
The program is subdivided into three modules/sessions which gives Fellows the opportunity to meet quarterly for one week-long in-class in-person training during the one-year program. Before graduation, Fellows will receive a seed grant for implementing peace project initiated by each one of them in their community.
University Certificates will be issued at the third and last module of the Fellowship Program on “Interreligious Dialogue, Conflict Transformation and Mediation” and this will automatically launch Fellows into COFP Alumni Network of Peacebuilders (CANEP).
