Deadline: 31-Jan-23
Men4Choice is accepting applications for its 2023 Virtual College/Youth Fellowship.
The Youth Fellowship Program is the heart of Men4Choice’s organizing and long-term capacity-building work. Through an immersive ten-week program, cohorts of young men come together to learn about the issues and develop the skills needed to organize their male peers. Since their pilot over the summer of 2020, the program has grown five-fold. Their most recent cohort had 26 fellows mentored by 7 former fellows in the summer of 2022.
The program focuses on training young allies who are emerging leaders, age 18-25. Fellows get opportunities to build their network and skills, learn from some of the best organizers and leaders in the movement, and apply their training through organizing actions and events with them. Beyond the initial ten weeks, this program also has a leadership development focus. Former fellows can earn an opportunity for a paid internship to mentor and coach the next cohort.
