Applications are now open for the cohort fourth of the Teach for Kenya (TFK) Fellowship Program to build a movement of outstanding young leaders committed to ending education inequalities in the country.
The Teach for Kenya Fellowship is a 2 year full-time paid leadership development program that recruits Kenya’s most outstanding graduates and professionals from varied disciplines to teach in high-need communities. The Fellowship program equips Fellows with transferable leadership skills that help change the trajectory of their students by developing their academic knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to shape a better future for themselves and their communities. Additionally, Fellows gain exposure to the realities of Kenya’s education system and develop into empowered leaders whose voices and actions inspire lasting change.
At Teach for Kenya (TFK), they believe that every Kenyan child has a right to quality education and an opportunity to unlock their full potential regardless of their socio-economic background.
Fellowship Details
- They recruit graduates from different academic backgrounds both those who have a degree in education and other academic backgrounds. As a Teach for Kenya fellow, you will commit two years of your time to serve low-income communities in the country as a teacher leader.
- During these two years, you will have an opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the partner schools and the community working full time as you hone your leadership skills discovering the joys and challenges that come with enabling Kenyan children to have access to quality education and unlock their full potential.

Eligibility Criteria
- They are currently recruiting for the fourth cohort for the 2024 – 2025 Teach for Kenya Fellowship. Minimum qualification for you to join the fellowship are:
- You must be a Kenya Citizen
- Below the age of 35
- Have a degree or be in your final year of learning expecting to graduate by December 2023 and finished classes by October.
