The World Food Programme (WFP) invites expressions of interest from partners to implement integrated food assistance and nutrition programmes in Awerial and Yirol East Counties, Lakes State, South Sudan. The initiative combines General Food Distribution, Blanket Supplementary Feeding, and Early Recovery Assistance to support vulnerable populations affected by conflict, displacement, and food insecurity.
Programme Objectives
The programme aims to:
- Ensure food security through targeted cash and in-kind assistance
- Prevent and treat malnutrition among vulnerable populations
- Promote early recovery, community resilience, and sustainable livelihoods
- Prioritize support for internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, returnees, and host communities
