Deadline: 30-Jan-2026
The Parkinson’s Foundation is currently accepting applications for its Community Grants program, which focuses on supporting local initiatives across the U.S. that improve health, wellness and education for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Eligible applicants include non-profit and other tax-exempt organisations that operate locally and focus on unmet needs in the Parkinson’s disease community. For the 2026 cycle the emphasis is on programs that address mental health in Parkinson’s disease, support care partners, or deliver exercise programmes tailored to people with PD. If successful will receive funding for a period from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
Awards range between approximately $10,000 and $25,000 per application, enabling organisations to scale existing programmes or launch new initiatives in their local communities. The Parkinson’s Foundation emphasises that funded programmes should be measurable, sustainable, and align with diversity, equity and inclusion principles. Organisations that serve limitations or underserved communities are particularly encouraged to apply.
For organisations working locally with the Parkinson’s community—whether through wellness programmes, caregiver support, mental health services or exercise interventions—this grant call offers a timely and meaningful opportunity to access national-level funding. Interested applicants should review the full guidelines on the Parkinson’s Foundation website and ensure their proposal clearly articulates how they will serve people living with Parkinson’s and their care partners.
