Powered by the Colorado Health Foundation, Prime Health’s annual Innovation Challenge is a 6-month program that advances healthcare through technological innovation, aiming to improve health equity, access, quality, and cost for underserved communities in Colorado.
Through a collaborative health innovation ecosystem, they can:
- clarify common barriers, problems, needs, and shared priorities within the healthcare industry
- identify companies and healthcare that are pursuing ways to solve those problems
- validate solutions impactful to Colorado healthcare
- accelerate the adoption of these solutions within safety net health organizations
This year marks the 7th Annual Prime Health Innovation Challenge, which will occur during a time when healthcare system faces an incredible battle: COVID-19. This year’s Challenge is focused on recruiting solutions that support providers and healthcare leaders in continuing to provide high quality, accessibly, affordable care in the context of a global pandemic.

Criteria
- Must have a market-ready health innovation solution
- Must be able and willing to complete a pilot in Colorado
- While all companies are eligible to apply, we especially encourage those that have:
- Solutions that are impactful to vulnerable and underserved populations;
- Solutions compatible with Medicaid healthcare environments; and
- Solutions with founders and leadership teams that demonstrate diversity and inclusion in action.
