Deadline: 01-Oct-2025
The Uncle Kory Foundation Seed Grant Program is designed for Research Investigators to begin or continue their research as it relates to brain cancer and when possible, specifically Glioblastoma.
The focus areas include research projects directly related to the field of brain cancer. The seed grants from UKF are established at 50,000 USD for the first year and 50,000 USD for the second year if renewed. The term of the grant is one year. A progress report is due six months from the initial funding date, and a final summary report is required one year from the funding date.
The grants do not include funds for institutional overhead, as the Uncle Kory Foundation uniform policy does not allow for administrative or indirect fees to be assessed against the award.
The application period will run from September 1, 2025, to October 1, 2025. Applicants must ensure that their research project is directly related to brain cancer, as the award is exclusively given for conducting the proposed research. The winner’s name, institution, project title, and a brief description in layman’s terms will be published on the Uncle Kory Foundation website.
Any publication resulting from the funded research must acknowledge the Uncle Kory Foundation as a sponsor. This ensures that the foundation’s role in supporting brain cancer research is properly recognized while also highlighting the significance of the awarded project.
