The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking to partner with Implementing Partners (IPs) to expand its protection network and increase access to services, especially in remote areas. This collaboration aims to address the rising demand for support and ensure that vulnerable migrants receive essential assistance.
The initiative focuses on identifying, screening, referring, and delivering sustainable solutions to migrants at risk of trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. Assistance provided includes shelter, socio-economic support, medical care, legal aid, access to justice, and psychosocial services.
Specialized services will target vulnerable migrants and individuals at risk of trafficking. The total budget for the project is €147,000, to be disbursed in Egyptian Pounds. Activities will be implemented across various regions in Egypt.
The project aims to deliver protection services to 2,000 individuals, including 60% migrants, 20% refugees, and 20% members of the host community. Proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance to expected results, sustainability, scalability, and innovation.
Other selection criteria include the applicant’s gender mainstreaming capabilities, experience in managing donor-funded projects, and a strong understanding of Egypt’s social, political, and operational context, particularly as it relates to migrant needs.
