The Victorian Multicultural Commission is inviting nominations for the Health Award to recognise health practitioners, researchers and organisations that address the needs of people from diverse backgrounds and/or provide outstanding health care, support or services to multicultural communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, community groups, and organisations.
- Multiple organisations working together are also eligible.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
Assessment Criteria
- Addresses the health needs of culturally diverse Victorians through culturally appropriate services or research.
- Fosters diversity and inclusion in the healthcare system and increases cultural awareness within the workforce.
- Promotes or supports effective health messaging for culturally and linguistically diverse Victorians.
What do I need to make a nomination?
- you will be asked 4 questions to support your nomination
- all nominations must include contact information for 2 referees. Note: referees are compulsory
- you may attach up to 5 additional materials to support your nomination, for example news articles, videos or referee statements
