Deadline: 17-Oct-2025
Healthier Illawarra Men has opened its next round of grant funding for charities and not-for-profit organisations working across the Illawarra region.
The focus is on initiatives that raise awareness about men’s health—including mental wellbeing—and promote positive, proactive behaviors, as well as efforts aimed at preventing domestic, family, and sexual violence.
Organisations wishing to apply must demonstrate that their work actively supports the Illawarra region and aligns with the mission of Healthier Illawarra Men. Proposals should clearly explain how funds will be used to deliver awareness or direct support services, and show past experience in running programs that generate impact.
Applicants are encouraged to articulate their charity’s purpose, how long they have been operating, the communities they serve, and their methods for engaging target audiences. They should also present a realistic breakdown of how grant money will be allocated and commit to providing updates on the project’s progress.
This grant opportunity provides a pathway for regional organisations to secure resources that can expand their reach, strengthen men’s health services, and foster safer communities. It invites groups already doing this work locally to apply and scale up the difference they are making in the Illawarra.
