Deadline: 25-Sep-2025
The Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, in collaboration with Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) and MyGov, is organising a poster competition focusing on the theme related to the event.
The contest, organised by DST in line with the vision of #ViksitBharat2047, is a national-level creative challenge inviting youth aged 13–25 to showcase their ideas for using STI for working towards National Priorities for Viksit Bharat. This is an innovative platform for youth to express their vision of ESTIC and India’s scientific and technological future toward Viksit Bharat. This competition celebrates the 11 cutting-edge thematic areas spotlighted at the Emerging Science, Technology & Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) ‘2025.
Themes/Topics of the Competition: Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, Blue Economy, Digital Communications, Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing, Emerging Agriculture Technologies, Energy, Environment & Climate, Health & Medical Technologies, Quantum Science & Technology, Space Technologies.
Youth aged 13 to 25 years across India are eligible to participate in the competition. Participants must submit their work in a digital format as either a digital poster or a high-quality scanned copy of a hand-drawn poster. The posters must be in A3 size or equivalent digital resolution with a minimum of 300 dpi and submitted as a JPG or PNG file. Submissions must be in English or Hindi and include a short description or caption. The artwork must be original and created solely by the participant, with no plagiarism allowed.
Participants are required to upload their poster file to the MyGov portal along with their personal details. A brief caption, of no more than 100 words, explaining the poster’s concept and its connection to the vision of ESTIC must also be included.
The selection of winners will be based on several criteria, including adherence to submission guidelines, relevance to the theme, innovation in science and technology, creativity, originality, and visual impact. The clarity of the message, ability to engage viewers, artistic skill, and the poster’s connection to the vision of ESTIC towards Viksit Bharat are also key considerations.
The top 10 posters will be showcased during the ESTIC Conclave from November 3 to 5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. These posters will also be shared on the official social media handles of the Hon’ble MoS (I/C) for Science & Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, and DST. All ten best entries will receive a certificate of participation.
