Deadline: 06-Sep-2025
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is inviting grant applications to support access to quality health and nutrition services for new arrivals, settlement-based and Kampala/urban forcibly displaced persons, as well as host communities.
The programme aims to strengthen primary health care services, including community health outreach, immunization, integrated management of childhood illnesses, sexual and reproductive health, TB/HIV services, nutrition, non-communicable disease care, and mental health and psychosocial support. It also supports timely and appropriate referrals for critical and complex medical cases, ensuring coordination with tertiary and regional facilities.
In addition, the initiative focuses on emergency preparedness and response, offering health and nutrition services during refugee influxes and responding to disease outbreaks. The funding is available for activities in Uganda’s northern, central, and western regions.
