Deadline: 28-Jul-2025
The World Health Organization is inviting proposals to select a contractor for conducting the documentation and coverage evaluation survey (CES) of the TCV vaccination campaign in Bangladesh. This will be the 15th TCV CES conducted in the country.
The WHO Bangladesh country office focuses on four strategic priority areas. These include enhancing efforts to ensure more people benefit from universal health coverage, promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing risk factors, and protecting people from emerging and re-emerging diseases. They also work on creating an enabling environment for healthy life and wellbeing, as well as strengthening health system resilience to protect health and manage effects of health emergencies, disease outbreaks, and climate change.
Applicants must have proven experience in public health research or immunization work with WHO, international organizations, or major institutions in Bangladesh for at least five years. They should also have at least three years of experience in documentation and communication within public health for WHO or similar organizations. Experience conducting at least one national-level research or public health survey with a large sample size (over 10,000) alongside WHO, UN, or other national/international bodies is required.
It is desirable for applicants to have conducted at least one nationwide coverage evaluation survey or immunization survey. Experience in documentation and communication activities in public health or immunization is also preferred. Additionally, familiarity with digital data collection tools like Kobo or ODK in surveys or research is an advantage.
