Deadline: 30-Jul-2025
The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF), in partnership with the Sedel-Collings Foundation, is offering grants to charitable and volunteer organisations that focus on improving the wellbeing of their staff, volunteers, and trustees.
The “Support the Supporters Fund” is designed to promote individual and collective wellbeing among VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector workers. The goal is to help prevent burnout and ensure that frontline workers can continue to thrive in their roles.
Grants ranging from £500 to £5,000 are available. Funding will support initiatives in areas such as employability skills training and mental health wellbeing.
The fund is especially interested in new, creative, or pilot projects that go beyond existing services to boost staff and volunteer wellbeing. Proposals informed or led by staff groups or peers are encouraged, as are long-term learning and development efforts that can be embedded in the workplace.
Collaborative projects between organisations that involve resource or expertise sharing and promote volunteer or staff wellbeing are also welcomed.
Eligible applicants include not-for-profit groups such as local charities, community and voluntary organisations, and social enterprises. Registration as a charity is not required, but the activities must be charitable in nature.
The fund does not support commercial for-profit entities, public sector organisations like schools, hospitals, or councils, or activities such as endowment contributions, loan repayments, or retrospective grants. It also excludes grantmaking organisations or those that fundraise or distribute grants on behalf of others.
