The Health Foundation has launched a new grant programme to fund partnership projects between UK Public Health Network organisations and partners from outside of the public health community.
The projects must demonstrate the potential for improving people’s health by taking action on one or more of the social determinants of health.
The Foundation will announce the successful projects in early 2019 and aim to share learning from the projects in 2020, as part of their wider work on health inequalities and the social determinants of health.
Areas of Interest
The projects will work on four key areas of interest:
- early years and education
- work and income
- housing and places
- communities

- The projects will run for 12-18 months and aim to get the UK public health community working with others to take action on the social determinants of health.
