Deadline: 01-Sep-2025
The Wolfson Foundation is offering funding for hospices and palliative care organisations that provide excellent care to patients and their families. Projects must support improved services or sustainability within these care environments.
To be eligible, projects should aim to increase access to services, improve the quality and range of services, or strengthen the organisation’s long-term sustainability. Funding is available for capital projects such as new buildings, refurbishment work, or equipment.
The minimum grant available is £25,000, with most grants ranging between £50,000 and £150,000. Projects must have capital costs of at least £50,000 and a funding shortfall of at least £25,000 to qualify.
Applicants must be registered charities or hospices operating within the NHS in the UK. Grants are only available for UK-based projects.
Certain projects are not eligible for funding. These include carers’ organisations, support and therapy centres, charities that lend equipment to individuals, hospital-based clinical care projects, and respite accommodation or services.
