The Wellcome Foundation is seeking applications for its Master’s Awards in Humanities and Social Science that enable researchers to undertake humanities or social science Master’s courses in any area of health.
Benefits
A Master’s Award is for one year. Support includes:
- a student stipend
- approved tuition fees, according to the rate charged by the training organisation
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can apply for a Master’s Award if applicant want to develop humanities or social science research skills and train in any area of health.
- Applicant must have sponsorship from an eligible host organisation in the UK, Republic of Ireland or a low- or middle-income country.
- Applicant should usually have at least a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. applicant can apply for a Master’s Award before applicant graduate, but applicant must have obtained their degree before taking up the award.

- received support for their postgraduate studies from another funding body
- begun a Master’s course.
