UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic invites businesses to participate in the training on Human Rights Due Diligence in Business Operations.
UNDP, with support from the Government of Japan, is making available a three-step guidance service to Japanese companies and their suppliers to better know the human rights impacts associated with their operations and establishing appropriate due diligence processes.
Within the framework of the project, a two-day training will be organized on January 26-27, 2023 for representatives of 30-35 commercial companies, outside the city of Bishkek, in Russian and Japanese, with the participation of international and national expert trainers.
The participation of the selected candidates will be financed by the project, subject to participation in all sessions of the training agenda (travel from Bishkek to the venue and back, meals during the training days, accommodation in double rooms and handouts are included).
Eligibility Criteria
- Priority in the selection of participants will be given to:
- Japanese companies or companies operating in the supply chain of Japanese businesses or their investments;
- Export-oriented and large companies in Kyrgyzstan;
- CEOs and/or founders of companies.
