The Walmart Foundation, Australian Government and Adventist Development and Relief Agency have also provided their support to the victims of the tropical storm Hurricane Mathew in Haiti.

The Walmart Foundation works with a mission to create opportunities to provide a better life to people. Walmart has a long history of providing aid in times of disaster in Louisiana, working hand in hand with the people of the Gulf Region during and after Hurricane Katrina. Walmart continues to help communities prepare and recover by donating emergency supplies, such as food and water, home and personal products, and by creating ways for associates and community members to locate and help one another.
Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have made a commitment to provide support through cash and product donations of $2 million to organizations helping with relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Matthew. As a part of this commitment, the Walmart Foundation is allocating $500,000 specifically toward CARE and Team Rubicon Global for relief efforts in Haiti.

Minister for Foreign Affairs: The Australian Government
The Minister for Foreign Affairs has announced that Australia will provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Haiti.Australia will contribute $2.5 million to the international effort to assist Haitians in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.
The Australian Government will provide $1.5 million to UNICEF to improve access to clean water and sanitation to help combat the cholera epidemic and threat of other water-borne diseases. This follows an international appeal by the United Nations to intensify efforts to reduce the transmission of cholera and provide support to Haitians most affected by the disease.

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. ADRA works within communities in more than 130 countries to bring long-term development programs and immediate emergency relief through an active network of global offices.
Hurricane Matthew has caused widespread destruction and ADRA is helping fight the spread of cholera with hygiene supplies, as well as providing food and access to safe drinking water.
