Deadline: 20-Oct-2025
The public organization ” My City ” announces the launch of the second wave of the “Crowdstarter 2.0” training program, intended for public organizations and activists from 12 regions of Ukraine.
This next phase opens new opportunities for activists from Ukraine’s western and southern regions, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to harness crowdfunding for their social projects.
The program welcomes teams of two to three people from Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Rivne, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions. To qualify, participants must present a non-profit and non-political social project idea, and at least one team member should represent a registered public organization, charitable foundation, or sole proprietorship. Priority will be given to projects in humanitarian and social assistance, volunteering, ecology, and culture, with a special focus on initiatives supporting veterans and their families.
Participants will gain both theoretical and hands-on knowledge of crowdfunding through a structured program that includes a three-day offline intensive from November 28 to 30, 2025, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Alongside expert consultations and continuous support from the “My City” team, participants will receive guidance on campaign design, audience engagement, social media promotion, partnerships, and post-fundraising community support.
An exciting feature of the program is the opportunity to secure additional funding of $1,000, awarded in hryvnia equivalent through online pitching. Importantly, “My City” ensures that all funds raised by participants go directly to their projects, with no commissions deducted from the crowdfunding campaigns.
Participation in Crowdstarter 2.0 is entirely free, with accommodation, meals, and travel costs covered by the organizers. By removing financial barriers and providing expert mentorship, the program empowers activists to turn their ideas into impactful projects that address pressing social needs in their communities.
