The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has launched a new program focused on integrating interventions in protection monitoring, mixed movements, and the prevention of statelessness for displaced persons.
This initiative falls under the protection sector, addressing areas such as access to asylum, general protection needs, and emergency protection response.
The program targets displaced populations in Niger, specifically in the Agadez region.
Organizations interested in applying will be evaluated based on their expertise in the sector, proven project management skills, and established presence in the local context.
Additional selection criteria include cost effectiveness, resource contributions, strong community accountability, sustainability of the intervention, and consideration of access and security conditions in the area.
