Deadline: 04-Aug-2025
Applications are now open for the Levi Lassen Foundation’s Grant Program, which supports NGOs working to advance Ethiopian-Israeli women and men.
The foundation offers grants in two main categories. The first targets Ethiopian-Israelis aged 15 to 30, with applicants committed to advancing this cause. The second focuses on Dutch-affiliated organizations in Israel, especially those supporting elderly immigrants from Holland, such as nursing homes.
NGOs can apply for grants up to 15,000 Euros per year, with funding provided for a period of one year.
To be eligible, NGOs and projects must focus on advancing young Ethiopian-Israeli women and men or support Dutch-affiliated organizations helping elderly Dutch immigrants. Projects should align with the NGO’s overall mission and be grassroots in nature, aiming for a practical, down-to-earth impact.
Grantees may apply for renewal grants, but this depends on submitting an approved evaluation report. Funding can cover no more than 50% of the total project costs.
Eligible NGOs must demonstrate stable, effective, creative management, sound finances, and Nihul Takin certification. Startups may apply even without Nihul Takin.
