The Gabo Foundation, in alliance with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies of Colombia (MinTIC), invites young communicators from Cartagena, between the ages of 18 and 26, to participate in the call for the Communication and Digital Citizenship Workshop.
The Gabo Foundation, in alliance with the ICT Ministry, continues to join forces to generate spaces for reflection, training and the exchange of experiences that allow building citizenship and telling and sharing stories based on the use and appropriation of ICTs.
This workshop will give young communicators from Cartagena creative tools to tell stories from critical and purposeful thinking in the construction of physical and digital citizenship. Likewise, it will serve as a space for reflection and exchange of experiences.
The workshop will address the importance of reporting as a route of creation and of the gender approach in creative projects, and how physical and digital citizenship can be built from communication.
This is the first short face-to-face workshop of a series of five that are planned to be held in different cities in Colombia.
How the workshop will unfold?
The workshop will be held in person and consists of a single session, which will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

- Training session dates: June 16, 2022.
Eligibility Criteria
- Communicators, content creators and members of communication groups, between 18 and 26 years old, residing in Cartagena, with experience in digital communication and citizenship construction.
- 18 participants will be selected through an open, public and free call.
