Deadline: 30-Sep-2025
The Fat Beehive Foundation offers small grants to help charities enhance their digital presence. These grants are designed to support organisations in building their online platforms for fundraising, campaigning, or sharing vital information.
The foundation prioritises funding for charities that are often difficult to support through traditional channels. This includes those working with prisoners, refugees, or disadvantaged youth. Their aim is to reach groups making a meaningful impact but lacking access to digital resources.
Grants of up to £2,500 are available. To apply, an organisation must be a UK-registered charity with an annual income of less than £1 million. Applicants must have a clearly defined digital goal and be able to support the project with staff or volunteer resources.
Grantees must acknowledge support by displaying “Funded by the Fat Beehive Foundation” on any work funded, in whole or part, for at least three years after the project’s public launch. Projects must begin within three months of receiving a grant.
The funding is not meant for general digital infrastructure. The foundation does not support purchases of general hardware or software, digital training or staff salaries, or core digital costs such as hosting. Organisations must have the internal capacity to deliver the digital project successfully.
Charities currently working with Fat Beehive Ltd, or planning to use their services, are also ineligible due to potential conflicts of interest. The foundation aims to support independent initiatives that otherwise struggle to secure digital funding.
