Deadline: 15-Aug-2025
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has launched the Fiscal Year 2025 Tribal Cybersecurity Grant Program (TCGP) to support tribal governments in developing and strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities.
Focus: Governance and planning, assessment and evaluation, mitigation, and workforce development.
The TCGP is a key initiative under the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program, designed to help tribal governments address cybersecurity risks and threats to their information systems. It supports the implementation of essential cybersecurity strategies to improve resilience, protect critical infrastructure, and build long-term capacity.
This funding opportunity enables tribal governments to implement cybersecurity governance frameworks, conduct assessments, address identified vulnerabilities, and enhance the skills and capabilities of their cybersecurity workforce. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, local capacity, and alignment with national cybersecurity priorities.
Only federally recognized Tribal Governments are eligible to apply. Proposals must demonstrate clear goals, risk reduction strategies, stakeholder engagement, and effective use of resources. Projects should reflect a well-defined approach to building secure, resilient systems for tribal communities.
The total available funding for FY 2025 is $12,164,971, with an estimated 18 awards ranging from $38,947 to $2,743,512. The application deadline is October 25, 2025.
